If one word had to be used to describe this performer, that word would have to be “consistency”. 

Madeiras Sunset News, or as we lovingly call him "Smitty", is a proven performer.  Smitty's greatest asset is that he performs consistently every time he works.  All 5 gaits.  Every time.  Flawlessly.

Smitty placed at Lexington's Junior League Horse Show at the Red Mile and despite being shown only a few times this year had accumulated enough points to compete in the five gaited pleasure class at the 2008 World Championship Horse Show. After winning the 5 Gaited Pleasure Stake at the 2008 Southeastern Charity Horse Show, Smitty is now the Southeastern 5 Gaited Pleasure Champion.

This six year old gelding can take your rider where they want to go.  This elegant equine delights both crowds and judges.  And at only six years old, he will be doing it for a long time to come.
